Are you outraged by cruelty? Appalled by cages? Determined to act—NOW?
Cville Immigrant Bond Fund supports local immigrant families and individuals in paying for legal defense and ICE bond.
We have a great volunteer team but could always extra help with fundraising, events and social media.
Want to join us? There are many ways to get involved
+ Save the Date: November 1, 7 pm, Re-Brand & Anniversary Party, The Kitchen, 606 Rivanna Ave., Charlottesville.
+ Host a fall house party to help us raise friends and funds. You supply the guest list and the food and drink, the Bond Fund does the rest. Help us get the word out about the need for bond and legal support in our community, and encourage your friends to give. Email us for more information
+ Organize a Border is Here workshop, taught by PLUMAS, our Latinx allies on Grounds. Get your friends, congregation, book club, neighbors together to learn more about how ICE operates in our community, and the impact it has. Email us for more information
+ DONATE, whatever you can, whenever you can. Your support makes bond and legal support possible for our immigrant neighbors and helps us all fight back against a cruel, inhumane, and intentionally unjust immigration system.

Why a Bond Fund?
4 out of 5 individuals currently held by ICE have either no criminal record or were arrested on minor charges such as driving without a license.
Those who are released on bond and secure legal representation have a 70 percent chance of being allowed to remain in the U.S. with their families. Only 3 percent of those who continue in detention are released to stay here.
This bond fund is one way our community can step up and say no to family separation. Please join us in this important work.
We are currently incorporated in Virginia as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The Cville Immigrant Bond Fund is an active member of the National Bail Fund Network.
